 කාලෙකට පස්සෙ මේ පැත්තෙ ආවේ.ඇත්තම කිව්වොත් මට බ්ලොග් එක ලියන්න වෙලාවක් නැහැ.ඒ මම මේ දවස් වල යෙදිල ඉන්න වැඩ නිසා. කරාපිටියෙ රෝහලේ මම මේ දවස්වල පුහුණුව ලබන්නෙකු විදියට සේවය කරනව.ඒත් ජාලකරණය පැත්තෙන්.කොහොම වුනත් මගේ අනික් බ්ලොග් එක සිත මල් යාය නම් කොහොම හරි ලියවෙනව.මේක පොඩ්ඩක් පරක්කුවෙන්නෙ බොහෝම කල්පනාවෙන් ලියන්න ඕන නිසා.කොහොම වුනත් අද පාඩමෙන් අපි බලමු Peer to peer හා Client-server ජාල වල වාසි හා අවාසි..

Advantages of peer to peer network

v  It is easy to install and so is the configuration of computers on this network.

v  All the resources and contents are shared by all the peers. Unlike client- server network where server shares all the contents and resources.

v  Peer to peer is more reliable as central depending is eliminated. Failure of one peer doesn’t affect the functioning of other peers.

v  There is no need for full time system administrator.

v  The overall cost of building and maintain this type of network comparatively very less.

Disadvantages of peer to peer network

v  In this network, the whole system is decentralized that it is difficult to administrator. That is one person can’t determine the whole accessibility setting of whole network

v  Security in this system is very less.

v  Data recovery or backup is very difficult.

Advantages of client-server network

v  In this architecture network, there is centralized control severs help in administrating the whole setup.

v  All the files are stored at the same place. In this way management of files become easy

.

v  As all the data is stored on server it’s easy to make backup of it.

v  Changes can be made easily by just upgrading the server.

v  Rules define security and access rights can be defined at the time of set-up of server.

Disadvantages of client-server network

v  Too many requests from the clients may load to congestion, over load can lead to braking down of servers.

v  Client-server network is not as robust as a peer to peer and if the server fails. The whole network goes down.

v  It is very expensive to install and manage this type of computing.

v  Need the professional network administrator to maintain the servers and other details of network.
